Noisy settling in well at Boston

New Boston Manager Noisy has made himself feel at home at the club with no fewer then 31 new faces in the door and 14 players depart.

We have reduced the average age of the team greatly and continue to search in our quest to sign a riser or two who could help the side.

Stand out signings so far have been Soudani from Zagreb and Pardo from Braga, These signings could help keep Boston in Division 4 as they battle relegation.

It remains to be seen what will indeed happen to Boston this season but they wont go down without a fight.

So ready the troops and prepare for 7 more battles.

The Curious Case of Robert Strike (Luton)

Below (again) is really the hard evidence in my opinion that cannot be denied that Mr Strike whoever he is was born in Congo, live in Tunisia, yet plays SM in Russian? Coincidence? or manipulation of the GW by an already established manager?

Engrave 'Stoke City' on that Trophy now

With the EC2 Season 25 English Cup Final less than 24 hours away, Potters boss ‘DP 91’ has broken the silence to talk Wembley and steering Stoke to their first English cup final appearance.

'DP91 is weapons ready'

DP91 - “It’s been an interesting first season at Stoke, a real mixed bag. We’ve underperformed in the league and found ourselves producing consistently good cup results to compensate for it, with plenty of the fringe players at the club proving their credentials time and time again when opportunities present themselves.

The clubs been allowed to develop under my stewardship and I believe we’re building a great team here which should be looking to consistently reach such heights as the English Cup final.

The important thing for the side now is to ensure we don’t let complacency into the camp. We’ll go out there and take what’s deservedly ours and more so mine. Mr Hirst walked into Carlisle at the quarter final stage of this competition and has done well to make it to the final granted but we here at Stoke earned this spot together, you might as well engrave Stoke City on that illustrious trophy now.”

Stoke’s Road to Wembley

En route to Wembley Stoke have overcame D2 promotion pushing Colchester United in the first round 3-0 before sending D1 side Southampton crashing out of the competition in round 2.

The D4 highflying Crewe Alexandra were next up in round 3 in what was a tightly fought 1-0 win away from home for the Potters. Stoke were content in a mid table position at this point and still going strong in the English Shield to keep the fans on side with the clubs questionably poor league position. The 4th round would see yet another close affair and progression for Stoke as they progressed in a penalty shootout 5-3 over Cardiff City after a 1-1 result which has been lauded as the catalyst for Cardiff’s plummet to the bottom of the D2 table.

Stoke’s ‘hit and run’ impact in the cup appears to have struck again since their 1-0 quarter final win over D2 rivals Peterborough once again lead to the clubs demise in D2 which has seen the club now go 8 consecutive games since without a single point!

The semi final was tipped to be the end of Stoke’s cup run as a strong Everton side would host the Potters but DP 91 had other ideas as Stoke once again adapted a new formation which saw his side contain the Toffee’s in a result which on paper was a generous one.

Stoke City Results

Round 2 - (H) - Stoke City 2-0 Southampton

Round 3 - (A) - Stoke City 1-0 Crewe Alexandra

Round 4 - (A) - Stoke City 1-1 Cardiff City (Stoke win 5-3 on Penalties)

Quarter Final - (A) - Stoke City 1-0 Peterborough United

Beddows finally gets his man

Beddows was delighted this morning to unveil his newest capture alongside Manchester United vice-captain, Mario Balotelli.

When I arrived at Man Utd I had tried to capture Higuain back in August 2014 when I first arrived at Old Trafford and despite on that ocassion having bid 80m Blackburn outdid me and he went to Ewood Park. But today I have my man, I am very happy. Mario, Alexis and Gonzalo are excited about the prospect of playing together."

It is rumored that the club who spent a club record £67m are now looking to move a few players on as the club is technically close to bankruptcy as a result.
